Feedback from the December Hive Power Up Day
What a pleasure to end the year in style with a new participation record for this last Hive Power Up Day of 2022. We also have a record of 33 participants who Power Up 1000 HIVE or more to earn the Jumbo-Bee badge.
We are delighted to see the enthusiasm around this initiative, which testifies to the good health of our platform and the confidence and investment of the members of our community.
The last Power Up Month of the year is underway. Don't miss this last chance to add one last Power Up badge to your board.
A few words from the PUD organizers
In the cryptosphere, the bear continues to slumber through this crypto winter, but it doesn't seem too frosty here on Hive. Once again (and dare I say for the fourth month in a row without jinxing it) there's been a ton of excitement around Power Up Day today, and I have a good feeling about the participation numbers again for December! 🙂
Seems like we're also getting new faces joining in, which I think is one of the best parts of Power Up Day - seeing newer, smaller accounts taking steps to grow their stake, which also builds their influence in the community. What a great thing to be able to celebrate the first of every month!
As always, a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this Power Up Day by powering up, posting, and/or shouting out on all traditional web 2.0 social media. All of those things help shine a light on the blockchain, which in turn helps to grow our community. Special thanks to @hivebuzz for always BEEing such an incredible buzz-maker for Hive Power Up Day, and for continuing to add to the blockchain fun. And here's to all the Hiveans, new and old, who continue to increase their voting power and influence on the blockchain - congratulations to you all!
What are the PUD stats for this month?
As usual, let's start first with those who choose to help others grow, the Power Up Helpers, as those are the ones who deserve the most attention.
We have 17 users who have made a power-up to another account and have thus allowed 20 people to get their PUD badge.
Special kudos to those who helped several accounts: @pinkchic (3) and @reiseamateur (2).
Together, the helpers gifted 276.111 HIVE!
Here is the complete list of helpers and their donations:

Thank you @idksamad78699
@traciyork @hivebuzz A question, because the delegation of Hive power that I did is not counted as power up to @marthica, how is that seen or what is the procedure?
@cryptomaso, a delegation is different from a power up. I see you delegated 15 Hive Power to marthica, which is a wonderful way to help an account grow. However, a delegation can be cancelled at any time.
Powering up to another account is essentially giving someone else Hive Power, and it can't be taken back. And since this is a Power Up Day initiative by @hivebuzz, it's only powering up that counts.
🤔😔And how to do that, it is not clear to me in the explanation of the publications about the powerup, I understood that a delegation counted, it is even in my post explained.
I took a look at your post, and I'm not sure why you're confused. The only time delegation was mentioned is when you said you delegated - it clearly says Power Up in the rules you quoted...
Also @cryptomaso, if you look in your wallet (although I took the screencaps from mine), you will where to Power Up and where to Delegate -
Well I have been wrong all the time, I had not understood the process, thank you for everything and sorry for the inconvenience, at least I did the powerup on my own, hoping to get the delegations for the second month. Thank you for all your support and understanding. 🙏🤝
You are very welcome, @cryptomaso and please feel free to shout out if you have any other questions. 😊
As you wrote, a delegation is not a power-up. Simple as that.
Ok thanks, traciyork explained it to me.
Wow Jambo Bee 😍 it is something I can't even imagine...
but maybe in future...
Right now, my goal is to achieve Hive-Power-up Month badge 😁
Congratulations to all Hiveans, and thank you very much, HiveBuzz, for the great motivation and enthusiasm dispersed in the platform. Know that this is very much appreciated. Happy every day with PUMs and every first day of the month with PUDs. Once again, thank you very much; more power, and advance, Merry Christmas!
Good luck with the PUM @pinkchic 😅
Wow some awesome stats for this month, great to see Power up days getting so much love, always a good day for people to make some content also!
Great to see Hive continuing to push the boundaries and onboard more users! As a "new" user on hive I'm loving the community feel and the help that people provide along the way! I've even managed to grab myself a helper badge, everyone should look to help at least one other user along the way! Create an even bigger Hive of connections!
Thank you @slothlydoesit
Awesome participation this month.
Thanks for the detailed report.
Thank you @beststart
Very well the whole community with the HPUD! come on hive🌟
Congratulation to all hivers and well done.
Some of the terms here are so strange to me. I have started with the one I understood very well that is PUD, PUM is also making more sense to me, although I don't have much hive to do it daily but I will continue to my best.
But helping others to power up is the part that i don't really understand. @hivebuzz please, help me out
Thankyou for teaching me about this.
Is pretty cool and will now become a regular thing for me!
I gifted $PIZZA slices here:
@youloseagain(2/5) tipped @hivebuzz (x1)
Please vote for pizza.witness!
Wow, nice ones! Some peeps put a really big chunk of honey into the Hive's pot.
Sticky congrats and thank you buzzy team 🐝🍯
Some amazing power ups, well done everyone!
Sweet! Power up helper
Hello Hivebuzz, I noticed 3 hive missing in the current circulation. Is there a story behind that?
Not sure we understand what you mean by "3 hive missing in the current circulation". Can you rephrase?
Taking the max supply of 9007199254740991 and subtracting 9007199254740988 in circulation means 3 leftover
Huh, is that related to the Hive Power Up Day 🤔
Sorry but we don't have the answer
I do not believe it is related to HPuD, But it might for all I know. Have a great day my friend.
Here's to another great Hive Power Up Day! See you January 1st!
