Message to @opidia - please return my vape!
Blockchains can be used for lots of things right? Well, this is me using one to direct a public message toward @opidia who has been blanking me for the last month while remaining active here. I loaned her the vape seen in the above image, she has left town without returning it and now doesn't respond to my messages. Which is no different to stealing in my books.
If indeed this is a conscious community as it claims to be, it will collectively acknowledge when an injustice is happening and deal with it appropriately. I believe people should be held accountable for their actions, particularly in this arena where we all give generously to each other because we believe we are giving to a certain kind of person. That is, until real world events prove otherwise. In the end blockchains have a habit of revealing who we really are over time, no matter how hard one tries to delete evidence of it.
Background:
After living in my home village in France for the last six months @opidia decided she didn't like it here and abruptly left, which is fine. But what isn't fine is leaving town with my vape. I use it regularly during my tobacco free periods and would like it back immediately. She is fully aware of this yet continues to ignore me.

I know you have stake on these platforms and 'fans' who appear to hold a certain amount of respect for you so like me they will no doubt be interested to learn why you think it is okay to steal from people? Not to mention, people who have been nothing but kind to you over the last six months.

There is nothing intelligent about stealing from someone shortly before ignoring their attempts to communicate with you. Personally I am just doing what I always do by documenting that which is on my mind while bringing something of value to this platform. The value in this case is my moral obligation to warn the good people of this community to treat you with caution and avoid physical contact with you at all costs, if indeed you confirm yourself to be a thief by continuing to ignore me.
Ah yes and while I am thinking about it, did you ask my permission to use my image from this post as your hive profile banner?

So this would be another example of stealing. And again, this is something the people of this community don't appreciate.

Yep, some lessons have to be learned the hard way and I will not be so fast to extend my to trust to users of these platforms in the future. Though I am still giving her the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to correct this imbalance in an honourable fashion.

I remember that post too. Was very excited about buying this vape! Even more so when I understood how this machine was my ticket to tobacco free periods. This and its little brother, the Mighty. One is for going out, one is for staying in!

We met on Whaleshares and yes, she has a different name here. Don't know how long she has been an astrologer. Not long enough to understand its relationship to the crypto market.
Let's hope she rises in consciousness and returns either yor vape or payment for it. Hugs. We DO need to be very mindful of our behaviours and how we effect others.
It's a fine line I think. We need to be cautious but at the same time open to all types of people and all possibilities. In the end, everything that happens in life is a lesson. And this is a cracking one! An excellent reminder in fact for which I am grateful. But still not willing to let this go without even writing about it.

I was there the moment the fork launched, everyone with a STEEM account was. I just chose to dump my Blurt at the peak as I saw no future in it.

The ticks went blue on my whatsapp messages to you a long time ago. Which means you saw them. Yet still you made no effort to respond directly.
I have a copy of your text to me. It says "would you please bring your vapo". It doesn't say who it is for. I brought it to your house because I trusted you. Where it goes after that is your responsibility. And by the way, your "friend" was very clear with his words when Sabrina saw him. He said YOU had removed it from the village and he would "try" to get it back. And seriously, a moving situation? You were moving from my village! Which means you had to walk approx 30 seconds to return it at any point during the moving process. Yet you (or he) failed to do that.
Why do you think??? Because at no point during our interactions did you give me his number! Obviously I would have called him if I could.
Having knocked on your door countless times only to find you were either not there or choosing to not answer, I grew tired of that game. When people are real friends, the flow of energy doesn't go in only one direction. In other words, I expected you to knock on my door sometimes! But you never did. Except that one time when you were going away and needed someone to feed your cats.
I do of course have sympathy for any person who is with their dying mother, but can you see why this story is hard for me to hear? You used exactly the same story one year ago as the reason I had to provide free storage for a ton of your possessions for over half a year before you actually arrived to live here. Two mothers, I know. The timing of their demise has been a test for us both it would seem.
He said no such thing. He said it was in your possession but he would try and get it back! Yet despite seeing his van multiple times in the village after this day, he did not return it or even take the time to give us further news. Happy however that you are going to ask him again.
I am mad about more than just the vape. What about the €3000 I paid for the ONE YEAR of rent for the room in your house I no longer have access to? Are you going to refund me any money? You didn't even say goodbye when you left! Do you understand how completely unfriendly that is???
I am prepared to move on from all these lower vibration feelings upon having my property returned.
