I think it's about wealth inequality

My mind doesn't process communism or equality so makes sense why I can't understand that

I'm still trying to figure out what reduce - share now means

Maybe it is straight-up communism. The people with the yachts and canoes need to share with people who are drowning?

Reduce your carbon footprint and share all your possessions with QR rentals like the scooters lol

People were traveling in a sea and they were suddenly hit with a Storm.
Now some are having yachts , while have canoes to help them survive this thunderstorm but there are people who has nothing and they are drowning.

So it is not at all ok , that those human are drowning and people with yachts and canoes need to help these people who are drowning.

Common Reduce the non living things from your yachts and canoes and give these drowning people space to survive.

You see this phrase is asking people having yachts and canoes to help at there level.

there might be some things that might not be more important than a person life and these are things and to reduce from yacht and canoes.

I think this phrase refer to helping people in need. Not only in the water travel where some are drowning but in every situation possible.

Reduce - Share now : it might be referring towards reducing the space someone takes in the yachts or canoes and allow the people drowning come over.

or in common case if we have a food then reducing what we can eat and helping the person who has nothing to eat.

I don't know if i am correct or not.

what is this challenge on hive community ?

The world economic forum predicted that in just 9 years you will "own nothing and be happy"

"It sounds utopian, until she mentions that her every move is tracked and outside the city live swathes of discontents, the ultimate depiction of a society split in two."

"We asked experts from our Global Future Councils for their take on the world in 2030, and these are the results, from the death of shopping to the resurgence of the nation state."

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2016/11/8-predictions-for-the-world-in-2030/

The world economic forum is a group that picks influential people to help steer policy guidelines for the future, to lead society into the future that they see. This is not an elected group, you have to be picked to participate, and only get to sit for a year.

I don't know what a criminal conspiracy is, but Klaus Schwab sent his book "The Great Reset" to every politician around the world, including Jason Kenny who said back in November 2020 he was not planning to implement what it espouses.

Justin Trudeau however insists that the crisis is an opportunity to implement the agenda they couldn't get away with democratically. Now that the Liberal Party is enjoying tyrannical emergency powers and unlimited spending, I doubt they will ever give it up.

So the poster's message seems to be; that inequality exists, and if you have the means, help the drowning. It seems innocent enough, but lets talk about the agenda promoted by the WEC forum of the wealthiest & chosen elite member network. Here are just a few points from the "What future growth looks like" chapter.

"changing course will require a shift in the mindset of world leaders to
place greater focus and priority on the well-being of all citizens and the planet"

"total GDP or averages such as GDP per capita are becoming less and less useful as true indicators of individuals’ quality of life"

"the capital reserves upon which a country can draw in times of crisis, including financial, physical, natural and social capital will need to be tracked systematically"

"We do not know yet whether the “tyranny of GDP growth” will come to an end, but different signals suggest that the pandemic may accelerate changes in many of our well-entrenched social norms."

So we are heading into what some want to be a post-GDP world, where your money is tracked and controlled by governments, who uses its power to change the consumer habits of its citizens, and also uses crisis' like a pandemic to accelerate its agendas. I do recommend people read these books at least to stay informed, because it lays out a very clear argument for an agenda that is being pushed.

"For decades, the US has enjoyed the “exorbitant privilege” of retaining the global currency reserve, a status that has long been “a perk of imperial might and an economic elixir”." - P32 (The fate of the US dollar)

It sounds great when you want to "save the planet" but not so great when you are talking about taking away people's ability to earn a living.

"We are now at a crossroads. One path will take us to a better world: more inclusive, more equitable and more respectful of Mother Nature. The other will take us to a world that resembles the one we just left behind – but worse and constantly dogged by nasty surprises. We must therefore get it right. The looming challenges could be more consequential than we have until now chosen to imagine, but our capacity to reset could also be greater than we had previously dared to hope." - P100 (conclusion)

Not everyone is buying this sort of narrative though. With both Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos getting divorced; this could be a signal that further collapse is imminent. However all you have to do is read the policy books to understand this is the plan.

"As psychologists and behavioural economists keep reminding us, overconsumption does not equate to happiness. This might be another personal reset: the understanding that conspicuous consumption or excessive consumption of any kind is neither good for us nor for our planet, and the subsequent realization that a sense of personal fulfilment and satisfaction need not be reliant on relentless consumption – perhaps quite the opposite." - P96, (Consumption)

By 2030 you will own nothing, and be happy.

Well, the grammar isn't bad at all, but the logic is a little bit questionable. Thanks for taking part in the #Engrish challenge, but don't forget to submit publish it within the community next time. I almost missed this beauty because it wasn't in the community.

I don't think anyone drowning needs to worry about reducing anything other than their water intake.

I thought I had posted it there, my bad I just added the one hashtag.

My #1 grief on Hive is not being able to change the #1 tag on a post.
