Fog OG Auto, Durban Violette in the greenhouse, Pineapple Express in bloom + Apricot Kush seedling

With the Pink Apricot clone harvested, an Apricot Kush seedling has taken it's place. The Pineapple Express plant has been put into bloom, the Durban Violette is stretching out in the greenhouse for it's long summer grow.

Fog OG auto

There has been four weeks of growth for the Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant, it should automatically go into bud stage soon. The plant has taken off this past week with massive growth.

Week 3.5

This autoflowering crossed cannabis plant has a short grow season, 10 weeks total. I have the grow lights turned on 24hrs a day, mimicking summer light of the polar region - where the auto strain originates. It's hard to imagine this plant finishing up in the next six weeks, but we'll see.

Week 4

Durban Violette

Seven weeks of vegetative growth for this outdoor greenhouse grown Durban Violette. I'm guessing it won't go into bloom until September, lots of time to grow.

Week 7

The plant was topped at week six, as seen below, to help slow it's vertical growth. You can see by week seven, the top two remaining branches have grown upwards to replace the main stalk.

This Durban Violette has grown to half the height of the greenhouse. I'll have to train these branches soon, to have them grow outwards instead of upwards.

Week 7

Pineapple Express

After eight weeks of vegetative growth, the Pineapple Express has been put into bloom mode - 12hrs of light / 12hrs of dark per day.

This plant had some light training -the main stalk was tied down towards the ground, so the branches would grow upwards together with the top. A couple of the branches were growing up quickly so they were gently tied down as well, to promote lower branch growth.

Pistils should start to appear in a couple weeks - grown from a feminized seed, this plant is almost guaranteed to be a bud producing female. Ten more weeks until harvest.

Apricot Kush seedling

The Apricot Kush strain is a balanced indica/sativa strain - unknown origins, but I'm guessing it's Pink Apricot x OG Kush. It has a quick bud time, great yield and good bud density (Source).

These are regular seeds, the plant could turn out to be a pollen producing male or a bud producing female. After soaking the seed for a few days in water, the seed popped open. The popped seed was moved to a damp paper towel for a couple days, then planted with the tail down.

A couple days later the seedling had risen up from the dirt.

I'll keep this Apricot Kush plant in vegetative mode for a six weeks until putting it into bloom. If it turns out to be female then I'll grow the buds, if it's male then I'll collect the pollen for future use.
