Getting Close! - Indoor Cannabis Garden Update
We're getting real close to harvest time now.
At least I think we are..
I'm of the mind to think these plants could be harvested right now, but I'm pushing them a bit longer.
The plant on the left "Fat Girl" I think is peaking with ripeness and should be taken down within 7 days.
I read by @wildwesthash:
I also give the plant 48 hours of darkness before hacking. Terpenes build up at night and exhaust during the day. Giving it 48 hours of darkness not only helps stack the terpenes in the final push but it also helps ramp up resin production towards the end. Basically, leave it in the dark until you are ready to harvest. -source
And I'm going to give this method a try...
That means I probably will cease watering in about three days and go to full dark for 48 hours. (For Fat Girl at least.)
Shybrid has pretty much caught up to Fat Girl in terms of bud size. She's still a little smaller but is packing some respectable nugs now.
She must have been jealous of Fat Girl's plumpness so she started fattening up herself, and is leaning a bit more than I like.
A little string tie down and she's happy as can be. Now I can really focus the small lamp on those maturing nuggets.
We can see Fat Girl is very mature, as the trichomes are nice and milky and at maximum potency at this stage.
Shybrid is not so shy anymore...
She's close to maximum maturity as well, and my guess has it that the Shybrid will actually be the more potent of these two, in terms of psychoactive properties.
At this point, I will be happy no matter how they turn out, as they already are a success in my opinion.
What do you all think? Are we real close to chop time?
That will do it for this indoor cannabis garden update.
Your time is a valuable commodity, and I always keep this in mind and do my best to respond to everyone. I appreciate all of the great engagement and support, thank you!
Thank you for stopping by, have a great day! -@futuremind
looks super delicious. I'm also curious what you get off in weight
Thanks a lot bro.
I think these will be some tasty buds for sure, and I'm also curious, mostly on the dry weight. I won't be surprised if the main colas are 2 grams or better on all of them, but I've never had buds this big so I don't know.
that is a tremendous specimen!
Thanks so much!
That fat fork looks amazing! I have done the darkness thing once, but it was hard to tell f it did anything. Some swear by it though. I would say some respond well, while some don’t. That’s cannabis for you tho, not one plant is alike.
Thanks a lot bro.
It will be interesting to see what happens. 48 hours is a long time to not look at the plants. I think I will go the entire stretch without peeking.
I appreciate the kind words, it's gonna be a nice harvest :)
Yum! Yeah, at this point you can't go wrong. Let me know what you think after the 48!
I will be posting about it when I harvest for sure! Thanks for posting the tips and advice for cannabis cultivation!
I appreciate your kind words and support :D
Right on. I can't wait to see your process after cutting them up and getting them into smokable form. They're sure looking chubby and pretty.
Thanks a lot @litguru,
My drying and curing process has always been pretty quick and simple with skipping the curing because of having small buds. I will do it differently this time and try to give these a nice cure for at least 2 weeks because these are the biggest I've ever grown.
I'll post an update after they are dry with photos too :)
Thanks for the kind words and support my friend.

I was actually waiting to see you hang dry them and start making nuggets out of it😁
Maybe for the harvest I should do a video? I was flirting with this idea actually :D
DUDE! All that looks so YUMMY!
I am so sorry I didn't make it over to check out the other more recent posts before payout.
But I got this one, wish I were there to share in the harvest ha ha
Thanks so much! When I look at them, I just feel like they are not done growing, but I am getting impatient and also racing the clock a bit.
No worries about missing posts. I miss many posts of my friends on here and try not to. Those who post more I tend to miss more, those who post less I tend to catch, but it's just a matter of how I am slow at everything and not consistent like I need to be but I try my best, so understand how it can be my friend <3
