Attempted Recovery Day - Sunday

Yesterday morning started out rather poor as I am still trying to get over whatever it is that has my digestive tract so messed up. The course of antibiotics wiped me out pretty good and then I got this stupid bug that is now not wanting to go anywhere. Everyone else in the family got it but dealt with it quickly.

Sleep is rather difficult and I am finding myself on the couch to try and sleep a bit more upright as my stomach do3esn't like laying down flat now. I had finally given up trying to sleep after hearing the dog bark at something before 5am. I got up and sat at my computer when the dog ran over to the entry mat next to me and sat there swaying back and forth dramatically. It took me a moment to realize but he had gotten into the glycerin remnants that were mooshed around the chicken yard. There was no pile out there for him to eat but he must have been nibbling the ground to get enough in him that he was pretty messed up.

I think he was tripping a bit but eventually he calmed down and then ended up sleeping most the rest of the day away on his bed. It's been a few years since he did this to himself so likely he forgot what happened last time. At least this time I was aware of what it was and was able to keep him calm. Poor bud had trouble at the beginning with walking straight so had a bit of trouble making it outside to pee. Once he came down a bit he was able to go out without too much trouble. This morning he looks a bit worked but otherwise is fine.

Mid day we had my mom up for lunch and to show her the pictures from our trip but part way through eating my insides began to hurt something fierce and I had to go lay down for about an hour before I was finally able to finish eating. I'm thinking I will grab some Iver today to do a short course and see if that helps to reset.

I found a nifty app for my phone, Habitly which has a nice widget for habits or tasks that I am wanting to do regularly. It's a nice way to remind myself constantly to do my Duo, coding, and mando lessons daily. Trying anything as a means to keep myself going without skipping days or giving up. So far I am 134 days into Duo and 127 into Mimo for coding.

Back to regular weekly schedules now and the boys have practice tonight. I need to make tortillas today, do my lessons, and try to clean some around the house.

Sounds like a long course of some sort of probiotics is needed. Even then it will be weeks before your micro biome recovers.

I am taking one daily now and will for a while. It seems to have largely broken over night so hopefully now I am on the full upswing.
