"WEED IS GOOD!" Investing in the Future of Cannabis

avatar

While other weed startups are duking it out growing product for sale to end users, an American company is taking a unique approach to long-term profitability.

KushCo Holdings Inc is focused on being the provider of choice for industry-compliant packaging to the cannabis sector. Think of a business that supplied the picks, shovels and other gear during the western gold rush and you'll have a good idea of why they staked their claim here. Turns out all those weed, vape pens and assorted CBD and THC products need exacting packaging in order to stay on the good side of a very skeptical government.

If loving weed is wrong, I don't wanna be right...

Now of course, the standard disclosure applies. This is not investment advice. Please do your own due diligence before parting with any of your hard-earned money. KushCo reported record earnings for their most recent quarter, with a 221% increase in net revenue. The question is, can they continue to grow fast enough to remain one of the biggest players in this space? Only time will tell.

Currently trading on the OTC market as KSHB, the company announced a bid to list on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. If approved, this would certainly raise their profile in the eyes of investors and end users. Either way, this is an exciting time for cannabis-related startups and the millions of people ready to spend on medical and recreational weed products. Is this pie-in-the-sky thinking? or an early shot at an amazing ground-floor opportunity? What do you think?.

Thank you so much!

Keeps them out of the cutthroat world of growing and selling directly. We'll see how it plays out when they're listed on NASDAQ.

It would be nice if weed would be taken off the Schedule I controlled substance list by the USA Federal government. It is so confusing going from State to State and the different rules in each.

Thank you so much for the information on this company. I believe that Cannabis is the best medication for a variety of ailments. At least it works for me!

Colorado seems to have the right attitude and I think someday soon we will see legal weed sweep the country.

So many good and peaceful people being put in prison up here in Canada right now, to protect the profits of these legalized corporations and insiders. Friends of mine, some of the best people I've ever met, are considered enemies of the state, traitors, criminals... because these licensed producers have to protect their bottom line. Instead of ending prohibition of cannabis, they legalized it, meaning control, manipulate, tax, monopolize. And of course, destroy the free market and peaceful cannabis culture, the mom-n-pops growers and bakers and extractors and trimmers, the taxpaying dispensaries which are being raided and replaced by sterile government shops with irradiated chemmy weed at 3 times the price in the free "black" market.

All this talk about "exciting times" and "get in on the ground floor" and "sky is the limit" makes me want to puke, with thousands of innocent peaceful people going to prison, families ruined forever, tax resources squandered, and respect for the rule of law destroyed. Bad laws are broken by good people until the bad laws are changed. We've been doing civil disobedience of unjust cannabis laws here in Canada for decades. "Legalization" is destroying lives as we speak. There were dozens of violent police raids across Canada today (July 31st). All to arrest peaceful growers and merchants, and even sometimes the customers (who are often patients that have NO OTHER SOURCE of medicine). All they got was some bud, oils, and edibles. Meanwhile, thousands are DYING of fentanyl and other opiates, many of them pharmaceuticals, which the drug companies are rich off. I've stepped over people dying on the sidewalks of Vancouver, literally. Opiates kill, cannabis heals and has never killed anyone. The war on cannabis is a war for profits.

People are literally suffering and dying right now in Canada because of legalization. And the insiders are talking about how it will be the first trillion dollar cash crop. Puke.

I'm sorry my post made you want to puke and am alarmed to read your reports on how innocent users are being hounded by the authorities. Here in the States, we've always seen our neighbor to the north as a more civilized and enlightened country. Everyone I know loves Canada and Canadians in general and it saddens me to hear about what's happening there.
