Will Ireland Legalize Cannabis Next?
A bill has been introduced to possibly legalize cannabis for personal adult use in Ireland. Currently the plant is restricted heavily for personal use purposes and growing, trading etc. Despite restrictions though it is widely used around the world including around Ireland.
This is a move that could potentially save the region hundreds of millions yearly by decriminalizing and ushering in a new kind of tourism and freedom for the area.
The customers who turn to cannabis, including both patients and recreational users, are truly a diverse crowd as you find in just about any market. Working professionals, seniors, veterans, homemakers, patients, and many others, millions of people out there have turned to cannabis in Ireland and around the world. Why? There are a myriad of reasons when you ask them but it is obvious that they reap value from this plant in one way or another and continue to vote for it with their dollars.
It has been an uphill battle to form some sort of legal market around the US and elsewhere and in Ireland it will be no different.
There is a great deal of ignorance and misunderstanding still out there surrounding this plant.
There will be the usual suspects from the usual industries who come out against this sort of reform, regardless of the critics though surveys show there is a lot of support and that this is arguably what most of the people want to see happen.
